MADRID, Spain - Real Madrid overcame a first-leg deficit to defeat Manchester City 3-1 in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final on Wednesday, securing a 6-5 aggregate victory and a berth in the final.

Manchester City started the match brightly and took the lead in the 12th minute when Ruben Dias headed home a corner kick. However, Real Madrid responded with a stunning goal from Rodrygo just two minutes later. The Brazilian forward latched onto a loose ball and curled a shot into the top corner.

The second half was all Real Madrid. Federico Valverde gave the Spanish giants the lead in the 79th minute with a powerful shot from outside the area. Substitute Aurelien Tchouameni then sealed the victory in the 81st minute with a close-range finish.

Real Madrid will now face Liverpool in the Champions League final in Paris on May 28th. The Spanish giants are looking to win their 14th European Cup, while Liverpool are seeking their seventh.
