Las Vegas Aces forward Aja Wilson has been named the 2022 Kia WNBA Most Valuable Player (MVP). Wilson, who is in her fifth WNBA season, led the league in scoring (20.1 points per game) and rebounding (10.1 rebounds per game). She also helped the Aces win their first WNBA championship in franchise history.
In 2023, the MVP title went to Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty. Stewart, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, averaged 21.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game in the regular season. She led the Liberty to the WNBA Finals, where they lost to the Las Vegas Aces.
