Brewers Trade Ace to Baltimore in Blockbuster Deal
Baltimore adds All-Star to rotation, while Milwaukee acquires prospects
The Baltimore Orioles have acquired former Cy Young winner and All-Star Corbin Burnes from the Milwaukee Brewers in a three-team trade, the teams announced Thursday.
In exchange for Burnes, the Orioles sent two prospects, infielder Joey Ortiz and left-hander DL Hall, as well as a draft pick to the Brewers. The Orioles also acquired right-hander Grayson Rodriguez from the Tampa Bay Rays in the deal.
